These BOD members of the Association are elected by the Association membership during the Annual Conference. The term of their positions as per the Association by-laws are as designated. The positions are as follows:
| The Board of Directors for the Association are also elected by the Association membership during the Annual Conference. The members of the BOD serve for a three year term. Should a Board of Director position become available become vacant during the year, the President can appoint an individual to fulfill that open position for the remainder of the term. The individual then must be elected by the membership when the term expires should they like to remain as a BOD member, as per Association by-laws. Associate Members may be appointed by the President to the Civilian Advisory Board. Their purpose is to both support and advise the Directors and Officers of the association. |
These individuals have previously been elected to and held the position of President of the Association. They are considered to be Life Members of the Board of Directors for the Association. | These individuals have previously been elected to and held a position on the Board of Directors of the Association for ten consecutive years or more. They are considered to be Life Members of the Board of Directors for the Association. |
These individuals have previously been elected to and held a Vice-President position on the Executive Board for four consecutive years or more. They are considered to be Life Executive Board Members of the Association. | These individuals are Non-Law Enforcement, Associate members of the NJNEOA, appointed to this position by a President. They support the NJNEOA with ideas and actions furthering the ability of the Association towards completing their mission purpose.. |
